The traditional architecture is the most important Heritage which Xàbia preserves. Houses and small homes, “casups” (sheds), “riuraus” (raisin-drying facilities), lime kilns, brick kilns, windmills, wells, cisterns, corrals, etc., are buildings which reflect a world which still lives in the memories of many Xàbia citizens.
The images of this exhibition recover and bring to life some of these rural structures, which are still maintained in the diverse and extensive municipality of Xàbia and that one day they helped to provide for the needs of the traditional society which was intimately linked to its environment.
